Birth is Only the Beginning…

The first six weeks following child birth is known as the postpartum period. This time with your new baby is very exciting and wonderful. It is also very new and a time for adaptation into parenting. It isn’t always what we think it’s going to be. It is very different having the baby on the outside, as opposed to the baby on the inside. As parents you’ve planned and dreamed for the day your baby arrives but I often hear many questions from new parents, most of them beginning with “Why didn’t anyone tell me about this?”
